Can you tell me why this is an exe file?

my antivirus protection won't let me open it.

The file is a kindle ebook not an exe file. Some sites, such a Tusfiles, you have a box you need to uncheck to actually download the file, if you don't it will show up as an exe file.

I always do a virus scan before I share any link. I don't want to sound rude, but if you're computer was infected, it wasn't this file that did it.
