You don't NEED a subscription to CopyDoodles to add this type of marketing moxie to your pieces... unless you WANT one!

You can grab doodle-type graphics elements (pngs, jpegs and vector art) from any of the free graphics download sites.

And there are graphics download sites that host premium links that are freely available to download, if you can convert them to generic ones. Or if you have a paid account with a premium host service like [Reported by Members as premium hosting that SUCK! Use MEDIAFIRE or MEGA.NZ :) !!!] or [Reported by Members as premium hosting that SUCK! Use MEDIAFIRE or MEGA.NZ :) !!!], etc.

I use Real-Debrid to convert these premium links and it works great. It's NOT expensive (around 20 USD one-off payment for 6 months use) and is easy to use. Just drop the premium link into the window in your account and click a button. Instantly you will see green (if the file is on the server and ready to download) or red (if it isn't).

But some graphics download sites also feature free-to-use host servers like mediafire, mega and zippyshare. So, if you can't (or don't want to) buy a subscription to a premium link converter app, do a Google search for doodle graphics with links that are on free sites. Here are a few keyword sets you can use to look for them:

- doodle graphics "zippyshare.com"
- hand drawn marketing graphics "mediafire.com"
- marketing doodles "mega.nz"
- copy doodle graphics "free download"

But I went "shopping" at PSDKeys to look for a few of these doodle graphics bundles. PSDKeys host zippyshare links ONLY for paying members and even then, sometimes, the zippyshare links are dead on the server. I used to pay for use of PSDKeys but I don't anymore. Instead, I paid for Real-Debrid and now I can test out any of the links on PSDKeys and other graphics sites without being a member anymore.

@ACHROFREJ: Yeah, I just learned that Capuzzi runs CopyDoodles, too! That's why I enjoy delving deeper into research. When I look into finding links to share, I become more edified with knowledge of something new almost every time.

So, to answer your question, it doesn't look like there is a way to download the graphic assets to test them without signing up --- but I could be wrong.

And I say that only because I just found a few websites that boast downloadable assets using the Copy-Doodle name in their links. Now, whether these sites are somehow affiliated with Capuzzi's brand or they're simply using the words copy-doodle generically to describe this scribble-form of drawing remains to be seen. I haven't visited the sites yet. If you want to look into them, here are those links:

I just checked the CopyDoodles main site and it says near the end of the page there's a 30 Day Guarantee.

You've got to actually buy the product then use it during the 30-day free trial.

As long as you don't download more than 10 enhancements from the site and are within the 30 day timeframe, Capuzzi says he will honor a no-questions-asked refund but it looks like you have to reach out to him. That, to me, could be a problem.

I have heard horror stories about money-back guarantees where customers call a Customer Support number and the calls aren't answered for long stretches or they hear the beep-beep-beep sound of an over-loaded circuit. Or they send emails and open a support tickets but never hear back or get standard template responses like "We received your message. Give us FOREVER to get back. And in the end, the marketer tries to find a way NOT to honor the refund, which becomes a nightmare experience.

While I am almost certain Mike Capuzzi isn't one of these types, I cringe at the idea that a customer is coddled by a marketer to get his/her money but becomes a crutch when the marketer needs to give that money back for a legitimate reason.

So, here are the terms of his "No Questions" refund --- in orange-and-white:

Not everybody will want (or can afford) to pay for someone's scribbles that other marketers will also be using in their sales pieces, too.

As we all know, some people don't have a sense of what looks good and their overuse or heavy-handed dependence on these quirky little images can defeat the intended purpose; ruining this for everyone. Customers can soon tire of them and before long, this method could earn itself a bad name.

To be honest, most any artist can create these little scribble graphics. Heck, most 9-year-olds can sketch them out and that's probably why these images are so embraced in marketing messages. It inspires trust and innocence; it takes us back to a time we old-timers fondly recall when a person's word was their bond and they did their best to make good on any promise they made.

If I find out there is a way to download CopyDoodles, I will surely share that information here.

I apologize in that this turned out to be a long-winded reply to your question but it seems the only way to "test drive" CopyDoodles is to "buy the ride" but you'll have 30 days from the date you sign on to test it and decide.

You would think that someone who created copy doodles to inspire trust and confidence would certainly keep his word if he promises a "no questions asked" refund guarantee.

The only way to find out if it's that easy is to look for testimonials online from run-of-the-mill, ordinary Joe customers; not from the star-studded list of fellow marketers on his website.

Or ask Google if Copydoodles is legit.

We know it is but it doesn't hurt to read what others have written. While you may read a couple of "bad-apple" reviews, you're more likely to see a gaggle of glowing reviews. Then we'll have to wonder if they're from fellow marketers, affiliates with a stake in making the sale and Capuzzi's cache of comrades from his GKIC connections or if the product is simply put, that good.

I was asked by a few people via PM about this CopyDoodles post. And the most common questions were

Q: "Where can I download CopyDoodles or similar images?" and

Q: "How can I create my own custom doodles? I can't draw a straight line!"

I answered the first question in a separate thread. I checked the CopyDoodles site and did several searches looking for free downloads but cannot find a way to download the doodle art images to test without buying the product.

Mike Capuzzi says there is a 30-day trial built into the purchase. When you sign up for your account, you will have to use the assets to see if you like them or if they improved your marketing response rate. You will have to reach out for a refund before the 30 days are over. If you haven't downloaded more than 10 of the images, he promises to give you a "no questions asked" refund.

As for question #2, you can hire a designer and pay through the nose but ... why do that when these little graphics are so simple!?

Custom doodles are the very best solution! You will have unique designs no one else has and can even incorporate branding into them by adding a logo, the use of your brand's colors and even use comic-strip like talk bubbles to get a conversation going if you use characters! That's a great way to pull your prospect emotionally into your marketing message, reduce the need for using long-form copy and to break up long passages of text.

Comic-strip type sketches will get eyes glued to the page because they're fun, interesting and attractive.

So, here are a few e-books for people wanting to know how to DIY.

No artistic talent is needed.

In fact, you'll do better if you aren't a natural artist or have an art background. I'll tell you why in a moment.

So, it's very do-able for you to scribble out these little "doodles" and place them strategically in your marketing copy for greater impact.

It's been documented in marketing that readers will look at images and drawings but will skim over long passages of text in copy. You've only got 10 to 20 seconds to grab a web viewer's attention and you won't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Keeping readers' eyes glued to your direct mail marketing copy is even more of a challenge. Few people will go through huge blocks of text unless you "break them up" with lots of white space in the margins and use components like bullets and subheadings that make reading easier on the eyes. Otherwise, you risk losing your message on them --- and losing them as a customer.

Of course, to a large extent, the quality of your copy matters but another tactic copywriters use are doodle graphics. Proper use of these scribbled images not only eases the reader to receive your message but can also build trust and confidence, when used the right way.

So, check one some or all of these e-books. See if any of them might help you to create the simplistic but powerful scribble-art that people seem to connect with. If you don't like them, delete them from your computer.

And (before I forget!) I promised to tell you why it's better if you're not a trained artist or naturally talented as an artist.

There was a time, decades ago, when these kinds of images were routinely used in sales copy. They must have worked because you rarely got a sales letter that didn't have bright-red words in the headline to add emphasis. Or a squiggly red arrow pointing to a coupon. A cute little smiley-face next to the list of Fast-Action Bonuses, etc.

These were not fancy images. They looked like something a 3-year-old sketched --- the kind of "art" a proud mom would tack to her refrigerator.

Images like those evoke warmth, trust, and confidence. So people are more likely to read on and even after they've read your message, they'll think about it long after. And that is a good way to stay in their heads until they order.

So don't be mislead. CopyDoodles is probably a great product but if you don't have the budget for it or simply don't want it, you can doodle on your own. You will have the flexibility of changing up what doesn't work and sticking with what does --- without seeing the same images on other marketer's stuff.

Do your own doodling.

Once you get the hang of it, it'll be so easy.
