[GET] Lose It Right: A Brutally Honest 3-Stage Program to Help You Get Fit and Lose Weight Without Losing Your Mind

Canadian health and fitness expert James Fell shares his no-holds-barred approach to losing weight and staying in shape–based on science, straight talk and a healthy dose of humour.
Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? The tortoise–slow and steady–won the race, right? So why, when it comes to weight loss and fitness, does everyone want to be the hare, speeding toward the finish line in a desperate attempt to drop pounds in record time? In Lose It Right, fitness consultant and writer James Fell offers the cold, hard truth about what you really need to do to lose weight and get fit.
In his trademark irreverent style, Fell offers a slow, steady and science-based approach to improving health that will motivate and inspire readers. He explains the critical role of exercise in adopting healthy eating behaviours, and provides a step-by-step road map for integrating exercise and making dietary changes. Through the Virtuous Cycle, a leveled eating and exercise program, Fell shows you how to gradually transform your health, the way your body performs, and the way you look.
With its big-picture approach to lifestyle planning, and its insistence that there are no quick fixes or miracle cures, Lose It Right will appeal to readers who suspect the tortoise was right: slow and steady really does win the race.

I ... R E A L L Y ... don't like epubs.

But that said, Great Book!

Even if you have a diet program you are already "OK" with right now -- I am too..., read this guys book anyway. He is definitely fun to read, especially on a topic that is no fun by its very nature.

Fell deals with the reality of why you can't lose weight as easily as your friends or spouse, and what you can REALLY do about it. Unassailable logic and wit combined.

And you will be able to lose all the weight you need with his "tortoise-modeled" winning approach.

It is all about perspective. Perspective tends to the be secret ingredient in all winning strategies.

PS: You did know that weightloss (your personal) is a revenue enhancing activity on its own didn't you? Studies have clearly shown that obesity is associated with lower wages and lower household income. [Colditz GW, Wang, YC. Economic costs of obesity. In: Hu F, Obesity Epidemiology. New York: Oxford University Press, Inc., 2008.]
PPS: Even in IM -- if you are doing a video to promote a money making product (or especially a weightloss product...), if it is obvious that you are 70 lb bigger than normal -- is that going to help or hinder sales? You won't need testing to tell you. Think beyond the video. The REAL money in IM is high dollar coaching/workshops. Person-to-person interaction. If you are 70 (or even 40) over normal there is a corresponding drop in perception of reliability and status. I've been to more than 60 high-buck workshops and the negative comments you hear in the background when a heavy guy/gal is up there -- are incredible.
Is Frank Kern fat? (Frank Kern is definitely not my personal end-all-be-all model. But he is a real touchstone for your investigations)

ALL TRUE from my personal perspective ... the real shame is that even after losing all the weight 80%+ gain a large portion of it back regardless how hard it was to lose it. Personally, I have gut feeling (NOT a pun) that a large percent of those that do lose weight still carry the self perception/worth that they are still too heavy.
