Quick Review:

The video was over 2 hours, so I skipped ahead during a lot of the material to get to the meat and potatoes, so if I've missed something, I apologize. I was pretty excited to watch this video, because it seemed as though the guy was ranking for a really competitive term "seo in london", but I noticed that many of the other videos on his channel weren't ranking for the terms that he was going for, so it may have been luck. If you're a YouTube marketer, then there likely isn't anything new here for you.

In the beginning he talks about the importance of using shorter videos (around 2 minutes), because user engagement is an important ranking factor.

1) Onpage optimization: Name the file your keyword before uploading, use LSI keywords in description. Set language, and all of that stuff which is found on the Advanced Settings page. Also, be sure to set your location if you're trying to rank a local business. Upload a file for the CC, and name that file your keyword.

2) Offpage: Send social signals (Syndwire) to video, video embeds, and send a GSA blast.

I think that's it, from what I remember. Again, there is nothing new here, but for a newbie to video marketing, it may be informative.
