[GET] Lobsang Rampa - 18 Books
A collection of books by Tuesday Lobsang Rampa - if you haven't heard of him, check out the wikipedia entry - it's quite a fascinating (and weird) story.
Don't let that put you off reading the books - if you research some of the modern day "Rampas" (i.e. Vianna Stibal, Esther and Jerry Hicks, etc) you can find equally interesting tales. If you're wondering where to start, The Third Eye was one of his most popular works. As it Was Beyond the Tenth Candlelight Chapters of Life Doctor from Lhasa Feeding the Flame I Believe Living with the Lama The Cave of the Ancients The Hermit The Rampa Story The Saffron Robe The Third Eye The Thirteenth Candle Three Lives Tibetan Sage Twilight You Forever Code: http://www53.zippyshare.com/v/AgoItKO8/file.html |

RE: [GET] Lobsang Rampa - 18 Books
Now that is a name I have not seen in over 35 years.... I read "The Third Eye" back in the late 1970's. Was an interesting read. It is a curious thing, so if you are into this type of stuff, then that is a good book to start with. Then you can decide if you want to have a go at the others.
Thanks for the share of these old books. Brings back some memories of a different time in my life. Cheers, G.S. Consistency builds momentum... And that’s how dreams become a reality.

@GordonShumway, me either!!
I read about 12 of these books back in the mid-70s, when people thought I was NUTS. Turns out, I was. ![]() But now those same people are reading them 40 years later! And thinking how enlightened they are! Reps for OP!! |

RE: [GET] Lobsang Rampa - 18 Books
@GordonShumway + @ArnieAbrams - yes, Rampa is certainly a "blast from the past" - I've come across many hypnotherapists / spiritualists etc who credit these books with getting them started in this realm. It was considered quite revolutionary (and controversial) at the time.
As they say, everything old is new again. When you've been around the traps for a while (I first read these books in the 80s), you realise all this "new age" stuff is basically a variation of the same stories in a different frock. |
