RE: [GET] LOVE-BASED BUSINESS
Always a pleasure to spread around a little good - especially if it may go your way !!

I never did get to see The Wiz Live! yet, guess I'll now have to make an effort to find it as it sounds quite charming, thanks for that pointer (I didn't know the title...).

As a very young kid it was a sort of enforced family tradition to watch the original whenever it was aired (I'm old enough that this started on a B&W TV) and then as an adult it was always around the edges as other folks made a point of watching it with their kids, etc.

It seemed sort of goofy to me, story-wise after all those years, but some of the songs' lyrics and phrases have gotten great use in my life - like when I console myself in poorly endowed company by humming the tune from "If I Only Had a Brain" or you'd better be careful or I'll drop a house on you too !! - and:
I always, ALWAYS admired the very gentle portrayal of Glinda in the original version.

Yes, this does seem to be her as I looked for her name specifically:

And finally - those 'hit and run' folks you mention...
They are a direct product of the (anti)social media and smartphone world who mostly think that full sentences and anything more than just a few words are now viewed as 'rambling'.
Such poor folks are usually also unable to be aware of their own lacks of discernment as well as how easily they can be misled (it MUST be true - I saw in on the 'net !!).
Reading actual BOOKS ?? No way. That's working too hard now.

OK, I'll shaddup now.

Thanks for being You Layna - know that you are appreciated beyond mere words.
I totally despise board spammers and spambots !!!

RE: [GET] LOVE-BASED BUSINESS
Bless you, smithnowt. I, too, remember the family gathering around the b&w TV whenever the original Wizard of Oz aired. Some of the young'uns on the forum would laugh to think that we used to watch TV in black-and-white. Hahhahahhaha!

Thanks for your kind words.

Heart to smithnowt and to any of you reading this, too, if you consider me your forum friend.
