Okay, here's the deal. I am a JixiPix customer so they sent me Portrait Painter for free. I am giving you the software (Download for PC or Mac) BUT you will need a license key to use it. So, here's what you do to get it:

1. Go Here to Register (to get YOUR OWN license code). Provide valid information to get a valid license code whether or not you plan to buy JixiPix products in the future.

Feel free to use a variation of your forum number (just make it look like a real first and last name) with a PO Box address and one of your many (you DO have more than one...don't 'cha?) Gmail address. You will be asked for your name, address, phone, and email. Fields like 'phone' may be optional; I don't remember. Like I said, I'm a customer so I had no issue providing my details.

Lastly, there is a drop-down box that asks how you came to find JixiPix ... that's probably for tracking their promotional efforts. I selected "Previous customer." You can select anything that feels right. There wasn't an option for "Layna61524 at Best Black Hat Forum hooked me up with you".

2. Get License Code. Instantly, you will get your download links (you can download from their site or take the ones I provide here ... they're the same) along with your own valid license key to open and use the software.

JixiPix will send you a follow-up email with your "invoice" (don't worry ... there is no charge; the plug-in costs $14.99 but is free) and the license code again (print it out).

Please don't download the software and then post the question: It's asking me for a license key ... what is it?

3. Install and use your fully licensed Portrait Painter. In just 3 easy steps, you can have your very own licensed copy of this software.

DIRECTIONS: To activate your app, download and install. Next, launch the product then copy the above serial number, inside the register dialog 'right click' and choose paste. Register box can be found in the 'Help' menu inside the app.

Access to the download or distribution of license keys may stop at any time. Get yours now. If the vendor gets wind that waaaaay too many people are responding to the registration link he may cut off this freebie offer.

Since the product has to be activated (license key) I'll bet you can't share your key with someone else. So, ACT FAST if you really want this. Otherwise, you'll have a download with no key to make it work.

Hi Layna. Thanks for sharing this. They're still giving the portrait software away so I followed your directions and it was easy - took all of a couple of minutes to order, download and install. Their other software is interesting and I'll probably end up buying something. Under 'how did you hear about us' there were several choices including 'heard about it on a forum'. Thanks again.
