HOW TO CAPTURE THE .HTML TO .PDF DOWNLOADS IN 3 EASY STEPS

STEP 1: Click the link to go to the web page.

STEP 2: Use a utility like Microsoft Print to PDF to capture the html web page content and save it as a PDF download.

If you cannot use this print utility and need another one, do a search for a free Print to PDF utility tool for YOUR operating system you can download and follow the steps to install.

STEP 3: Capture the html page by hitting Ctrl + P on the keyboard. When the print utility option box opens in the browser, select the Print to PDF option. Give your file a name, if prompted, and decide where to save the file. Then click OK in the print utility or ENTER on your keyboard to execute the save.

You will do this for each html page you want to save as a PDF.

Here is a screen-shot of my browser showing the end result of the November 2012 newsletter issue I saved as a PDF:

As you can see, the image shows the first page but the document has all 5 pages captured to a PDF. I scrolled through the pages to make sure everything looked okay and it did. And like any PDF displayed in Adobe Acrobat Reader, I can increase/decrease the size of the document using the [+] [-] features in the UI.

I created a separate folder labeled NEWSLETTERS within the folder I named J. F. Straw Stuff on my desktop to put all the newsletter PDFs. Eventually, I will move the entire folder to my external hard drive for archiving.
