Already shared NOOB!

Everything you need to know about searching BEFORE posting is in a stickied thread at the top!

This wasn't even hard to find either. Type: "instant local profits" into the search box and voilà!

RE:
I actually make a living (not as good as I would like LOL) with small biz owners, I can say that just getting to speak to them is part of the real battle, something that these "wso gurus" often skim over in offline materials.

It takes time and effort just to get past the "gatekeeper", to get a meeting or a decent phone conversation with an owner.
Giving away something will get you some owners, but IMHO broke ones, or skeptics.
If the video does not really produce sales for them, they are not going to pay for more stuff

One thing I personally do is have a few other "things" I sell = rep = for - I deal with a wholesale printer and a wholesale promotional item guy, so I do get some sales and residuals on those things. It is an idea those looking to work offline might wish to consider.

My bad - delete this post mods!

I could give a rats ass about reps - just trying to share what I bought.

Sorry for the hassle.

RE:
I haven't wasted time reading the course but I would like to add a way that continues to work for me when it comes to converting offline businesses into sales.

It's pretty straightforward really, what I do is "fix problems they already have"

Some of the ways I have pitched businesses is by looking at their websites and seeing if they have any duplicate content issues. It could be duplicate meta tags, duplicate descriptions, missing alt tags etc.

Another method I've been successful with is removing bad links from their sites.

I find fixing problems they already have more or less gives you the keys to their business which in itself is a big trust factor.

It works really well because even if they do pay someone else for Seo etc and you point out the problems that your competition don't pick up on it more or less establishes authority pretty quickly.

As long as your efficient and professional at fixing their issues upselling them on higher ticket or recurring income becomes easier because you build a relationship quicker which was never driven by sales, it was driven by pointing out a problem which has the potential to hurt their business!

If more wso's pointed this out instead of making promises of driving traffic and sales a lot more people wouldn't feel like they're constantly wasting money and time.

I'm not describing anything new here, I just find it so much easier to follow the problem, solution, resolution method.

Why ?

Well, what is the fastest way to become an asset to someone?

You resolve the issues they already have right ?

Why would you try and sell a video to a business if they don't feel they need it ?

It makes no sense, especially when you can identity problems they already have or didn't know they had and help them to improve their business.

I love the meta description method because it's instant Seo in the most helpful way possible.

You'll be surprised at just how many web designers don't even bother with metas!

One of the worst offenders I find are ecommerce sites...

One word

Messy!

Page after page of duplicate descriptions, it's just crazy but it's all good for the likes of us.

I've worked on a good few ecommerce sites with this tactic and the least I have pulled in for helping sort out there site is £750

Can you see the difference using these kinds of tactics?

It's a no Brainer

believe me and ecommerce is super competetive, plus the doors open wide for a ton of upsells and recurring payments!

I thought I'd share something that really does work and is really simple to implement.

One last thing before I go.

If you think you need a million and one things to get started making money offline your mistaken.

Here's what I didn't have and I still made money.

A domain name
Web hosting
Website
Content
Videos
Auroresponder
Squeeze page
Follow up emails
Email List
A Shit load of money.

What I did have

A Shit load of courses from bbhf and a belief that I could make this work!

That's it.

My first Client was a lawyer, I got in the door through rep management using YouTube videos and made a ton of money.

I eventually sacked him cos he was a prick!

That gave me a massive boost in confidence and a belief that not only can I make money but I can also let idiots go and it not affect me one bit.

That's powerful and I have never forgotten it.

So whatever you, don't go chasing Shit that you don't have. Work with what you do have and that's not every shiny object flashed in your face. It's the mind set and belief and the action that counts!

I guess this kind of post from me has been a long time coming.

I just wanna say thanks to all the players who helped make this possible here on bbhf.

You know who you are, I think everyone does.

So there you go. That's part of my story.

Hopefully you'll find something useful.

Keep striving and take massive action !
