Keep in mind the author refers to pounds (British currency) so if you were to convert to the equivalent in U.S. dollars, the £20,000 a year salary in the book's title becomes $26,882. It was written in 2014 so much of his advice should still apply however, do your own due diligence and update your knowledge about any resources he covers in the book to be up-to-speed with what's going on now.
