I'm also posting to remind you that most of the e-books shared on BBHF came from elsewhere online --- mostly from free e-book download sites.

That means if I can find them, you can find them. So rather than post for a re-up and wait on someone else to re-up or mirror, you can be downloading the files you need.

You can do a Google search using the book's title and the URL of any of the free-to-use download sites like ebookee.com, pdfcoffee.com or pdfdrive.com, among others as your keywords.

So, here's the GOOD NEWS...

I found Luna's UPDATE and am sharing the download below. You will be able to download the file by clicking the little black DOWNLOAD button on that website.

BUT...

The BAD NEWS is this...

Be sure to read the instructions because Luna has password protected the file. You will NOT be able to open or read it without the secret (and required) "open sesame" word.

What's more... I don't have it!

But here's more GOOD NEWS....

Luna gives you a clue as to where to find the password. In fact, he spends much more time hinting where you can specifically find it that he could have easily saved time by giving it to us!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WON'T READ (NO MATTER WHAT): You've got to have access to his hard copy version of the same 3rd edition title. He tells you what page to turn to and which word of which paragraph it can be discovered.

Still, most of us would have to buy (or borrow) the book to find the password for the e-file update.

So here's my challenge: I am asking anyone who can figure this out to send me a PM with the password (you should NOT do this on the thread because the forum now frowns on password protected files that don't use our forum password). I don't want to get anyone in trouble. So send me the password in a PM and I will open the file, then re-up it to a file host without the password and update it here for the rest of us.

Luna's 3rd edition hard copy should be available on the shelves of most any public library, so you don't have to buy it unless you want to.

Or if you happen to already have it on your bookshelf in your home or office, I need your help.

ONE MORE WAY TO GET IT

Luna says if you purchased the Kindle edition of How to Be Invisible (3rd edition update), you can contact him for the password. The reason for this is that e-books do not always conform to the same "real" page numbers in the hard copy version of a title.

Keep in mind that if you contact Luna to say you have the Kindle edition, you may be asked to show some kind of proof of purchase --- at the very lease, it should be the proper AZW file format and not a PDF or mobi. There may be some Kindle designation written on the copyright page or elsewhere. I dunno --- but since authors are looking for buyers and not black hatters, you've got to come correct or it will look bad that you're contacting the author for help when you didn't legitimately purchase his product.

Since anyone can convert a book from PDF to AZW3 with an online app or by using ePubor Ultimate, there's got to be something Luna is looking for to identify a Kindle purchase.

I looked in my Kindle library and I have other JJ Luna books (which I share in this post), but I obviously downloaded his How to Be Invisible e-book from elsewhere.

And my last check of this book on Kindle shows it still at-cost, even for Kindle Unlimited subscribers.

I TRIED AND COULDN'T FIND IT.

Just so you know, I tried using a word I found on page 66 --- the first word in the first paragraph on that page --- per Luna's instructions. But it was an e-book, which he's already said wouldn't work.

And it didn't.

So if you can help, I thank you in advance. It would make this share come full circle.
