That's why they have a code built in to the image. Also they have 'no-bodies' constantly searching the internet to catch out unpaid for images. Shutterstock is quite heavy on this and that's why you often hear of people being taken to court for this very reason. I would say...use any image you want, but at your consequence. |

RE:
Don't worry about copyright nazis :)
BTW, within a month, probably more than 1.000 people will have downloaded the stuff, and will keep sharing everywhere. Good luck going after everyone, everywhere in the world! However, it is nice to support the developers and those people every now and then. As for built-in codes to an image, what are you referring exactly?

RE:
Hi sjc999,
People can't download the stuff if they don't pay for an account where you posted the links. The limit is 10500 Mb there. Thereafter, they can get all the stuff for free by using the link on the first post, on the first page, which is this: http://mir.cr/LIQXQJOW All that people need to do is to use any torrent client, and grab all the stuff for free, which are being shared on a good speed right now. From the last time I saw the stats, there was more than 300 people sharing (downloading/uploading) the contents. Additionally, please, remember to keep sharing the contents at your best upload speed so people can also benefit of it. Thanks, BRZ

Maybe the odd one or two who do something stupid with the images. As for an inbuilt code, if we knew how they did that, then evrybody would be in on the act. Probably the only way I could think of, is that they would have their own image link and then search websites and check back at point of sale. That's the only way i can think of, as to how they check each image. Anyway, thanks heaps for the torrent link above. |

RE:
Don't worry about anything. The only thing they can do is to track who is sharing the torrent, which most people really don't care. Additionally, there is no built in codes on any image, there is no even a copyright message on the files.
If you are really worried about something, the only existing thing on the images are the metada Job Identifier [IPTC Core]: Which is something one can enter a number or identifier created or issued to improve workflow handling and image tracking. Typically, the creator or image provider creates this code for transmission and routing purposes, relating it to the job for which the item is supplied. This field is “shared” with the “Transmission Reference” field in the Origin panel of the Adobe Photoshop File Info dialogue. You can view the "Job Identifier" by using the AcdSee for example. You just need to right click on a image, and choose the property attribute. You can wipe this info if you want, or change it to whatever you want to as well. You can even batch remove everything if you feel paranoid about it :)
