I would highly recommend putting some money into FB ads promoting your page, just so you can have an advantage over the majority of people who won't spend money.

One more thing...

This method can be applied with ANY affiliate network with rss feed -even if the RSS feed does not include your affiliate ID. All you need is to set a cookie (this will set a cookie to whatever your affiliate id is) and add that aff id to all outgoing links.

There is something you can do which is what I generally do, set up a redirect and collect email addresses, plenty of freebies of PLR on here to give away.

And also I'm not sure if PLR giveaways will work here, as the crux of the author's idea is mainly targeted towards local sales for physical products. So twisting it to the IM niche in order to use PLR giveaways from here might not really work here because of the nature of the Facebook pages your meant to set up. (ie physical things for sale near your location).
