Just to be accurate and fair. I had originally bought Laura Betterly's first offering. It was delivered and I just was too overwhelmed to act on it. So I don't have any feedback as to that offering.
Then came Local Agency Start-up. I paid them 300.00 and never got delivery. The way in which it was packaged was exactly as all the vendors of other purchases that twisted my brain into a noodle. The name of the product did not match the email. The login url did not match the product and the customer support name or url did not match the product. All this and I started getting hammered with solicitations by the sleaziest marketer out there Ryan Deiss. Just listen to him speak is to hear the full enactment of phony, condescending speak, by a sales letch of the royal kind. I had previous bad experience with Ryan and swore never to do business with him. So to my dismay and surprise my not getting delivery, of a product by Laura Betterly turned into all things interface, support response, emails, etc was from Ryan Deiss. His off shore can't speak English or more importantly can't write English support kept me strung along for months claiming not understanding what product I bought, what money, what receipts etc, when provided with screen shots, numbers, dates. Then after months of frustration I gave up to focus on making progress. Then Laura introduces a new program and I decide to write her privately to alert her to how Deiss was slamming her list and how I resented having to field his messages because they were coming in with a similar header to the product I had bought and got delivery of. I went into great detail, screens shots, dates, all to show that I was not acting out of my distaste of Deiss alone, but rather that I was feeling abused for the agreement to receive emails from her did not imply my agreement to receive emails from Deiss. I never heard back from her. She always claimed to be in touch with her "people" and yet never once did she come up and take responsibility. She could have simply said she has no idea how to untangle things and that she was sorry....something. I would not have changed my mind on Deiss but at least I could have reconciled myself to the fact that she was in between a rock and a hard place. So in conclusion I had to black list her emails in turn Ryan the snake oil slickster, insincere huckster, "et all" I never got access to my purchase nor a refund. The claimed they never got the third payment. I asked if that was the case why did they not approach me even once to clear it up. I mean they never emailed me to clear up a missing payment as they claim I had not paid no 3 of 3. If I told you I got 100 solicitation from Deiss in that time period I would be under-telling it. When I called them over a year latter they had no record of any of my tickets and no idea what I was talking about. As it happened I was exposed to another Betterly product through a referral and it re-kindled my unresolved issue with my Local Agency Start up purchase.
