Need PLR Content for the Upcoming (or Future) Holidays?
Do This and Never Be Short of Stuff to Post Ever Again!

It's that time of year again ... the holiday season is upon us.

Everybody needs information to help them navigate the busy season of celebrations. And you can give them that in the form of relevant content to drive your website's sales or service.

Everything from setting a grand holiday table to gifting the perfect present ... to clean eating ... to the perfect turkey and trimmings ... to mixing the most delectable cocktail your holiday guests will crave ... you can put out the high quality content for the holidays with the right PLR resources.

I just received a PM asking where to find holiday related private label rights (PLR) downloads. I gave a few suggestions for searching both the forum as well as the search engines; but, I decided to share this information here for all to see.

If you need PLR content for Halloween ... Thanksgiving ... Christmas or any of the holidays now and into next year, here's how to search for it and never be at a loss for relevant content again.

HERE'S HOW I SEARCH

STEP 1: Start with a good search. I use Google or Duckduckgo. I put in one of more keywords and see where that takes me.

Now, that may look like good results but most of these sites actually SELL PLR packages and that content is either locked behind a membership portal or available through a third-party payment processor.

In other words --- you won't find any download links lying willy-nilly where you can just grab them.

But that first link in the image above looked like a smaller independent site that could potentially have links I could explore.

So, here's what I did next ...

STEP 2: Use a good site ripper tool to find download links on the site.

I highly recommend you grab a the WP SITE RIPPER SUPREME tool shared by sIMplified here:

Go to the thread above and click the yellow text: DIRECT LINK TO WP RIPPER SUPREME to get this neat little ripper.

Here's what it looks like after I input the website URL into the window ...

STEP 3: Open the ripper tool in a browser. Copy and paste or type in the website URL you want to rip. Be sure to include either "http://" or "https://" or it won't work. Next, hit the green SEARCH NOW button and give the tool a few seconds. In short order, you will see the browser populate with blue text links.

NOTE: If at first you get nothing but a blank screen, hit the refresh button to try again. But the links are available as I write this post.

See ...?

Now, that's just a partial screen showing PLR uploads from 2016-2017. Lower on the screen is older stuff and higher up is more recent links.

STEP 4: Browse the links to see which appear to be download links. Usually, you can tell download links by file names. They include these words:

* access
* download or dl
* thank you, thanks or ty
* success

But that's not always the case. I have found links to pages full of downloads with a file name that meant nothing --- a simple alpha-numeric string.

By the same token, I have found links that appear to be Thank You pages but when you get there, you're told to check your email for the link or log into the members' area.

And since we're not supposed to be seeing these pages because we used a ripper tool (and don't have a membership there) ... that means a dead end.

You will need to check each link by right-clicking it and opening each in a new tab to keep from losing the WP Site Ripper in your browser.

Go to the newly opened tab and see what's on that page. If you find download links, you're in luck. If it says anything otherwise (a sales or upgrade page or there's a message directing you to check your email, etc.) close the tab and return to the WP ripper to repeat the steps.

This is not for everyone. Patience is a virtue and not everybody has it. The method takes time but the results can make the effort worthwhile.

STEP 5: When you come to a download page, get the product, course, PLR, etc. ASAP. Bookmarking it could help but the site owner may detect strange stats (lots of downloads from different IP addresses while their product sales are stagnant) and move the links elsewhere. So it's best to get the download when you find it. Not later.

And that's pretty much all I do.

I let the search engines help me to find relevant websites that may have good downloads. I avoid sites that I know sell PLR that will most likely have their treasures under lock and key. What you're looking for, then, are smaller sites that could host their downloads on the site, thus, making them available.

The second step is to let a site ripper tool like WP SITE RIPPER SUPREME find all the links on the site. Then you can check the ones that look to be download links.


CAVEAT: The tool works well but sometimes a site may be coded so that nothing shows. When this happens, don't assume the tool doesn't work --- because it does.

Also, the tool can be temperamental. I have used in one case where i got no links but later checked the same site again and the links showed up. Just be patient with it and use it often for great results. BOOKMARK IT for regular use.

I have used this little tool to help find a lot of stuff for people on REQ threads; which makes me wonder if half the people here who are always posting (or bumping other people's) requests even bother to try and find stuff themselves. There is a wealth of information on how to find stuff on the forum. I try my best to post as much helpful advice as I can.

There are other methods, as well, but the 2-step method I describe above is very effective.

You won't find everything you're looking for but it helps to know how to search. And let me tell you, sIMplified's WP Site Ripper Supreme is a great little workhorse.
