Yeah, I've knew about this for quite a while - the problem with the method is that most of the time you get low quality traffic from some obscure third world countries. I'm not being racist, but that's just as it is - those people most of the time don't buy as they either have no money or they don't trust Internet with their credit cards or some other reason, and you can't really monetize them effectively with traditional CPA ways as they're not from US/UK/CA/AU...There are certain niches that CAN be exploited this way, but even so the potential bar is usually set very low and the monetization is usually done in indirect ways - those in the know probably know what I'm talking about.

And then there is a whole array of problems with ad relevancy and ad scores and website scores and whatnot. Adwords is not easy for most people...
