I've been flipping domains since 2001 - no expert but experienced.

Fun business but more pipe-dream for many than reality. (ie: buy a perceived 'great domain' and wait for the world to come running to pay heaps of cash for it... when that Rarely ever happens to the average joe/jane)

Now that the supply of keywords is more robust (with all these new extensions), then the per flip ROI is much lower than 10 yrs ago obviously. Still, like anything - there's $$$ to be made if one knows what they are doing. ...just not as much money :-P

I have purchased two of the products included. These are classic methods which have been around for years... because they work.

They mainly deal with selling geo domains to offline businesses (names like SeattlePlumber.com). The first product dealt with easy ways to find the names and sell them. The second product went into more detail about creating value by putting up simple lead gen landing pages on the domains, after which you could sell or rent the domain, or just sell the leads. I haven't seen the third product yet, but I am hoping it has something to do with all the new TLD's (like .Pizza .Plumber) that have recently become available.

The best thing about Gene's products is that they are practical methods that have been honed from his own experience. And he explains exactly what to do in a way that is easy to follow. I have sold domains using these methods. The worst thing is that he over-promises how easy it is to sell the domains. In most cases, they don't sell themselves, and you have to invest time and energy to contact prospects and try to close a deal. Definitely doable, especially if you like sales. But this is more of an active business model than passive income, unless you can afford to buy hundreds of names and just wait for offers.
