But you got to have the whiteboard software to use this, don't you? I bought the whiteboard software a while back, but never got it and that fuck don't respond to support issues. Least not for me.

Yes it need software to used this item like it has mention on the sale page (videomaker fx, explaindio, ESP, videoscribe...etc) but if u don't have whiteboard software still u can used this on powerpoint to make video with your creativity or make used the image for other purposed.

Not sure what is ur problem and what software that u have bought and never got it. But i have see there several software that been shared here and u might want to download and try it out. Hope this will answer your question.
