4. Enter your eMail address and click on "Start free trial".

You don't even need to verify your eMail address (you should do it nonetheless - it's the only way to set a password - otherwise you won't be able to login into this VPS again).

You can then either download an .rdp file to use with any remote desktop software or you can use their remote desktop webservice - a remote desktop in a normal browser window. How cool is that?


Unfortunately there is at least one downside: In the trial versions web browsing is disabled (makes me wonder why there are trials for the Chrome and Firefox apps). This certainly makes those VPS less useful. But I'm sure there are some uses for them.
