Rainbow [GET] Food and Buying Tricks (PDF)
This PDF claims to have been made by a pro chef and does have very worthwhile info.
I scraped (stole !!) it from a very long and messy site and made the uncluttered PDF from it.

Its title is:
FROM A PROFESSIONAL CHEF TO YOU:
The tricks that anyone should know when they buy food.

It is just plain print and 4 pages - a very easy read.

Shared at ~8 hosts with VT included at the top site.
If free file hosts give your browser fits, I strongly suggest getting Ublock Origin which does away with over 90% of the excess krap at such sites.

RE: [GET] Food and Buying Tricks (PDF)
Adding to what this 'chef' has to say from a very strongly health-centered POV and life:

1 - Flour.
For folks like us this means non-wheat.

2 - 'Superfoods'.
A very catchy tagline for too many things, but some DO exist and with care can be affordable.

3 - Fruits and veggies.
For folks who have any ongoing sugar balance concerns, care is very warranted here.
Those who have normal metabolisms are very fortunate if they can stuff fruit all day safely !!

4 - Meats.
This 'chef' says "MEAT IS A LUXURY, NOT AN ESSENTIAL"

This reader replies that such a statement is utter BS for anyone needing to have a controlled diet with ample protein.
Peanut butter is a wonderful protein source, but sadly here in the US most peanut crops are loaded with toxic chemical krap and even those things marked 'organic' usually are bad as well.
Also - not everyone can live on beans, rice and veggies 100% of the time.

Fish...ocean products have been powerfully toxic for years already in many ways.
We do not consume any and would not recommend it to anyone.

5. This, as it stands, is VERY misleading=>
"STAY AWAY FROM THE INSTANT RAMEN"

The noodles themselves are mostly harmless - vs. the little foil packet of pure toxicity included as 'flavouring', which ls 100% loaded with toxic shit.

It is very simple to use the naked noodles along with something like 'Better Than Bouillon Organic Roasted Chicken Base, Reduced Sodium', spices or even just ghee.
The noodles make a yummy snack or small meal with the only real concern being that they do have some sodium content - but noplace near what is in the poison packet !!

6. Junk food, cheeses, alcohols and other highly toxic stuff.
If you came with me to do the marketing you'd notice that I totally skip at least 70% of the aisles including the cheeses, dairy, beer/wine, candy, chips, soft drinks, tobacco and the so-called 'health' areas.
We do consume coffee and tea simply because they are enjoyments - but using the care to choose very much less other toxicity, we also stay very, very healthy as compared with most other folks in the 60+ age range.

There - just my 2 cents added for anyone who also has a strong desire to avoid ill health via the simple ways of avoiding toxicity.
