Fasting works. For beginners, you may start with intermittent fasting as it's easier to endure. The first time you do intermittent fasting, your brain and body crave sugar and carbs. The good news is that, if you keep observing your body and not reacting to what's happening, you're going to know more about the conditions you have. Of course, water is important during fasting. If you can have clean spring water, it's the best for fasting.
Then, once you succeed on your first attempt of intermittent fasting, try to do it once a week and after a few months, you wish to try a 2 to 3 day fasting until you can eventually do 5 day fasting. The longest I did was 5 days. The first 2 to 3 days were intense, but on the 4th day, there's a feeling of spiritual connectedness in me. Note, I'm not a doctor. I'm just someone who likes to experiment for my health. And, it pays off for me. |
