In case it may matter...in specific relation to this share:

I've been making and using this for over a decade and I calls it 'silver water' rather than all the fancy sciency mumbo jumbo.

The process is quite simple once the supplies are on hand for it.

My own 1st challenge in this, all those years ago was actually just to get some pure silver wires - and I was soon blessed when a friend generously mailed a couple to me.

As time went by I continued to collect info and also ran across the debates about high vs. low voltage as well as using DC vs. AC to make it.

I was also fortunate to make direct contact with a man who is sort of the grand daddy of all SW makers - and that contact's info really opened my mind about this subject more.

I also ran across the info openly published by Duncan Crow (it has since been removed, sadly) in which he explains how to use high voltage to make SW very well and much more quickly.

To sum this all up as simply as possible now:
During every SW making session I make ~10 gallons of it, a gallon at a time, and that lasts us for many weeks (I use at least 8 ounces daily myself).

Buying SW from various sellers generally costs a minimum of ~$30 USD per pint if you can find it at all anymore.
So - do the math and it comes to=>
~$240 per gallon !!

In making it - all that is needed is a power source, a vessel to make it in, distilled water of decent quality, the wires, and a TDS meter.

When each batch is finished here according to my measures, it is decanted via siphon through a forced flow thing I made from a couple of recycled food containers and clear tubing which uses a coffee filter.

It need not be costly, complicated or difficult as so many will try to get you thinking via articles and/or books;
I have applied this same desire for simplicity to kombucha making as well with great results, also for years.
