A. Yes there is an OTO. This is not necessary at all to make this method work.

Q. What other Outside Expenses are necessary to make this work?

A. You will need a hosting account which I outline in full But if you do it the way I show you all cost are passed on to the clients.

Q. Do I need to cold call?

A. Absolutely not. However, this is an offline business and the reality is, you will at some point have to talk to prospective clients on the phone (after initial contact) or in person. If you are not comfortable talking to people this is probably not a good fit for you.

Q. Can this be done where I am located?

A. Yes this method can be applied virtually anywhere in the world. All that is required is that you have an internet connection, laptop, and perhaps a Google or Skype account to make free phone calls.

Q. You said I can watch the training videos on my iPad or iPhone?

A. Yes, please make sure you use the app called iSwifter which is available on the app store (free).

I have only sampled the videos.

I always judge these courses by they way they claim to get their customers. I cannot find any video that explains this.

What there is, is pretty basic. e.g. module 2, introduction and overview:

Module 4 - Hosting Your Website: This video is for those of you that are unfamiliar with website hosting and the different hosting sites and types available.

Module 5 - Theme Add-Ons / Plugins: This video explains what Add-Ons and Plugins are, how you can use them, and why they would enhance your website.

Module 6 - 24 / 7 Form and Auto-Responders: This video explains what website forms and Auto-Responders are and why they are important to have on all your sites.

Module 7 - Legal Pages: This video will go over what Legal Pages are, the need for Legal Pages, and which Legal Pages should be on your website.

This appears to be repeated in module 4, local biz training.

As an example, he talks about domain names and in a roundabout way suggests buying a keyword domain. This was never a strong ranking factor and has been devalued in the recent algo updates. The example he gave had two yelp entries above his, and he claims yelp is 'strong'...

I'd be interested in seeing the upgrade as this mentions ways of obtaining customers.

All in all, if this is the level he is charging for, I'd be a little concerned about the longevity of his business...

For the record, I have run an SEM business for 4 years now. It's not my main business, but probably takes up more of my time than any other of my businesses. To be successful at this, you really need to bring in the customers. Just having a local ranking is rarely enough.
