Just FYI, libgen.io quits very much of the time, either partway through the DLs, or right up front with gateway errors.

After 5 tries to get just the dummies book tonight and it quitting partway through each time, I gave up.

Not your site, I know - and maybe it is a time or place related sort of problem like with mega.nz, which works very well for some folks vs. not at all for others...

@smithnowt: Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with Library Genesis. A few months ago, I experienced the same problems as you're describing but not lately.

Hopefully, someone else will chime in to say they, too, are getting this issue.

Only one thing I can recommend and it may not always be feasible. If you can do a search on Library Genesis for the book title and you get a return page, look across the Mirrors area to the right side of the browser. You will see small numbers 1 through 4 in brackets. If more than one of those numbers are activated (i.e., not light gray) you can hover our mouse over it to see if you can click it to get another mirror link. I guess what I'm saying is that there may be an issue with a few of the mirrors.

Short of some issue with your computer, it has to be an issue with the mirror link. Or that there is a lot of traffic at the time you're downloading.

One last thing I can recommend is that you look for the same book by title at another e-book download site. About a month or so ago, I wrote a post about all the e-book sites and others started sharing their e-book sites ... if you can find that thread, it will be very helpful for future e-book searches.

I don't know that this helps but I hope it does. The only other alternative is to log off and go do something else ... coming back to Library Genesis at a later time should help.

I had no idea about the mirror links there - I'll try again a bit later...that is a really strange site though - tonight it comes up as a mobile looking site with a huge QR code.

This should help anyone who has trouble with the mirror links. However, this does not include the blog articles or the first share which is just a link to the Etsy guide and you should have no trouble getting those.

@smithnowt: The libgen.io site behaves strangely sometimes when there is heavy traffic but what you describe seems like a browser re-direct. I recently experienced similar behavior on other sites and had to uninstall/reinstall my browser. I think it was infected.
