According to your question about reps. Well I think only VIP can add 5 reps. When I was junior member (newbie) I could give just 1 rep for particular post, then senior member - you can give max 3 reps and so on - not sure although how many total reps you can give a day since I know this is also limited due to membership status.
So or become VIP member or share valuable things here on the forum so you can be promoted and then you will be able to give more reps.
