Digital printables! They're all the rage!

In this share, I point you to sites where you can download them for free. I suggest you use them as inspiration for creating your own projects.

You will find calendar templates, planner page templates, coloring page designs, stickers and lots more.

And in addition to posting website resources to get your creative juices flowing, I also show you a simple technique I use in Google that will easily help you to find more digital printable downloads!

But that's just the tiniest tip of a big ole iceberg! You can search for these kinds of printables whenever you want to.

DIY PRINTABLES SEARCH

The internet is full of artsy graphics for digital paper designs, planner pages and printable templates. You've just got to look for them.

Here is how I do it...

STEP 1: Go to Google: https://www.google.com

STEP 2: Type in these keywords (or change them up with keywords that describe the kinds of printables you want):

NOTE: In the image above, under the search text field, the word ALL is highlighted and underscored in blue so Google will bring up a combination of results: websites, images, videos, etc.
But the way I like to search for printables is to change that from ALL to IMAGES (see next step).

STEP 3: Click the word IMAGES so that the screen now looks like this:

Now the word IMAGES is highlighted and underscored in blue and the browser now brings up results in the form of image icons instead of the usual website descriptions and links.

STEP 4: Browse the images for something you like. When you see an image that meets the criteria of your keywords (ex: it's a free download for a printable or journal page, etc.) then click on the image to take a closer look.

Google will put a larger representation of that image in the upper right corner of the browser (see image below)...

I clicked on the 4th image from the first row above (Free Printable 2021 Calendar). Whatever you click on will appear in a larger area, as well.

STEP 5: Browse the image and if you want to visit the site, click either the text link that describes the site (ex: Free Printable 2020 2021 Calendar - Super Cute! - Cute Freebies For You) or click the tiny black and blue world globe. That icon represents the World Wide Web or internet and will appear with every site. So if nothing else, remember to click on the little world icon and Google will take you to the site. Alternately, you can right-click on the world icon and select "Open in a New Tab" so you don't lose the Google images with the results.

STEP 6: Once on the site, you can read the details of the download and check out any download links. You can close the browser tab when you are ready to continue browsing the Google results.

REPEAT STEPS 1 THROUGH 6 TO CHANGE YOUR SEARCH KEYWORDS OR TO CONDUCT A NEW SEARCH.

As you might imagine, this can take a bit of time but you can fill up on beautiful printables and printable ideas with a simple IMAGE web search.

I like to search by IMAGES because you can visually examine the printables, get inspirational ideas and change the keywords from that single location. Being able to see what you're getting can cut down the process versus if you're just reading website descriptions.

AND ONE LAST THING...

Be sure to read the terms of use guidelines for whatever you download. For example, the printables and Inspirations.com site I used in the example on DIY searching says this:

Our printables are free for your personal use only.
All photos and downloads were made for Printables
And Inspirations (except for affiliate images). If
you wish to share about our printables, you must link
back to our posts to give due credit. You're not to
remove any watermark or edit our work.

So, remember to play fair and steer clear of any legal entanglements by using these design elements and templates according to the usage terms outlined on the site. The very best way to use them is as a springboard to creating your own printables.
