BIO:
In the late 90’s, Erik Fadiman was working as a chef in Portland Oregon when he began reading books about HTML because learning how to build web pages “seemed like a good idea at the the time”. That interest led to fascination and he decided he wanted to become a web designer. He managed to catch the last six months of the dot com boom, before ending up unemployed along with everyone else. He quickly learned that “web design is hard” and actually quit three times before finally learning enough tips and tricks to do it right. He is now a freelance interactive designer and he teaches web design at the Seattle Central Creative Academy. He is obsessed with the Internet, digital culture, and anything tech geek related. He spends most of his free time reading articles and tutorials online, trying to stay on the cutting edge of emerging technologies.
