There are always two sides to every story. So, while you CAN get really lucky and make a lot of money with your idea (if it's done right), there's the flipside of that scenario.

Need I remind you that there are sharks out there who are willing to take your idea right out from under your nose because while they may have the means or the connections to get a prototype and create a marketing plan, they don't have the creative mind to come up with a fresh and innovative idea if their very lives depended on it.

So make sure to get everything in writing. Know who you're talking to. Document dates and times and be sure to read up on the best ways to protect yourself and your idea.
