Side Note: do not buy from provenlogic..they never update their garbage scripts and download link expires within minutes after download...they are some very sneaky bastards LOL

Installation:

BuzzFeed is built on the Laravel Framework. Minimum Requirement for running this script: PHP 5.3+ (with fileinfo extension enabled), MySQL 5.4+, php5-gd, php5-curl, php5-mcrypt

i) For Shared Hosting


1. Extract buzzfeed.zip in the root directory.
2. Import buzzfeedDB.sql in your database.
3. Open app/config/database.php and fill the database credentials
4. Open public/app/config/app.php and fill in url. If your site name is domainname.com, then your url will be http://domainname.com/public/
5. Please give 777 permission for app/storage.
6. Please go to app/config/mail.php please give email Credentials.
7. Open app/config/packages/artdarek/oauth-4-laravel/config.php and Facebook, Google client id and secret id.
8. You can change logo, favicon, meta description, keywords, etc from the admin panel as configured above
9. You are ready to go live!


ii) For VPS/Cloud/Dedicated Server

1. Extract buzzfeed-vps-v1.zip in the root directory.
2. Then open app/config/database.php and fill the database credentials.
3. Import buzzfeedDB.sql in your database
4. Open app/config/app.php and fill in url, If your site name is domainname.com, then your url will be http://domainname.com
5. Please give 777 permision for app/storage and public folder.
6. Please go to app/config/mail.php please give email Credentials.
7. Open app/config/packages/artdarek/oauth-4-laravel/config.php and Facebook, Google client id and secret id.
8. Create a Virtual host which points to the folder "public" in the extracted files from the first step
NOTE: If you are using Ubuntu server, Learn more at https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... -12-04-lts
NOTE: While configuring the virtualhost, make sure the document root of the website points to the public directory.

9. You are ready to go live!
