DOWNLOADING IS EASY

1 - Click the link in the MAGIC BUTTON then wait for the download link to generate. The green button (that reads "Generating Download Link) will show "Successful" when it is ready to be used.

2 - Download the file as usual.

3 - Make a note of the password that shows on the download page in case you need it. The password for all downloads on this site is the same: 123.

One trick I use is to attach the password to the file when I rename the download on my computer. This way, it is always there without me having to hunt for it.

For example, once downloaded, you can right-click on the file, select RENAME then type the file name AND password: Articulate Storyline_pw=123. Now the file name will be front-and-center as a reminder without you needing to getting inside the archive to find it. Any variation of this strategy works (ex: you can remove the = and add a blank space or another character if your computer's naming convention has certain restrictions for how you name files.

The download contains instructions, as well. I find that people who are literate with computers tend to give instructions as if we all are ... and that's not good. A newbie needs a very clear step by step approach. You don't tell them to "copy the patch to the program folder and run as admin." Telling someone WHAT to do and showing them HOW to do it are simply not the same.

Anyway, here's what's in the download (so you can get familiar with it):

So as you can see, this download comes with a PATCH file; therefore, in the instructions, use the steps shown under the PATCH fix.

Further explanation (if you need it)...

Copying the PATCH folder to the directory where you saved the Articulate Storyline program file: You can either drag-and-drop the PATCH folder into the same directory you created to save Articulate Storyline to or (alternately) right-click on it, select COPY and then go into the folder where Storyline is saved and right-click then PASTE it there. Either way works.

Using the key generator:

Step 1 - Install the application. This is simply double-clicking on the program to open/install it on your device.

Step 2 - Generate a serial. I haven't used this yet so I'll just say there is usually a button or text link you can click within the opened keygen app that says Generate or something similar. Clicking this creates a key or license code like series of numbers you can use to register your program for use. From my past experience, it could be necessary for you to generate keys multiple times before you get one that "takes." So be patient --- the first one you get may have expired.

Step 3 - Register the app. Use the key your keygen app created to register your copy of the Articulate Storyline program. Don't confuse the word "app" in the instructions. You are not registering the keygen app but the course creation software application or program.

Step 4 - As always, make sure to have a firewall to block outbound connections. This is nothing you'll have to worry about because very likely, your computer is already set up with the firewall to disable outbound connections to your computer. But to be sure, here's how I searched for information on checking your firewall...

It's always a good idea to do a scan separately for executable (program) files. But I furthermore suggest that you pull out all of the "black-hat or pirate type" files designed to let us use programs without paying for them because (such as keygens, crack or patch files) and run a scan on the individual file, just to be certain that nothing looks suspicious. If you're not careful, you could get a nasty surprise.

If your local or Virus Total scan shows a potentially unwanted or suspicious file, do a bit more investigating online (searching for the name of the exploit or virus by name on web/tech sites). If it's simply a false positive for the brand of virus protection on your computer, use it. If you're still antsy about it, use it within the confines of a virtual sandbox --- an area inside of your AV program that seals it off from affecting any part of your computer's core operating system.

Of course, it the threat is real, you want to delete the program from your computer and run a deep virus scan. You can always search to find another download for the program you want --- or find a substitute that may actually be an improvement.

I believe CashCleaner posted for previous versions of Storyline before it went to 360? Well, I'm not sure my post will help because these versions are from 2021 through 2023.
