THIS...what youre looking at right now...is a form of landing page.
A landing page is where people land on your webpage (duh).
For example,
Lets say you have a Google AdWords ad that says,
Watch a big fat sumo yap
on about landing pages.
When a person clicks that ad, it brings them to THIS page.
That means THIS is the landing page for that ad.
OK OK OK ..youre smart and understand that concept. Onwards....
Now lets say out of every 100 people that land on this page, 2% of those end up BUYING what we sell.
GREAT!
Out of 100 people, 2 of them bought.
But lets say we change around the images and the text on this landing page....and with this new version of the landing page, of every 100 people that land here.....10% of them buy!
HOLY BEJEEZUS!
That means out of 100 people, TEN of them bought!
That means FIVE TIMES MORE PEOPLE bought than the previous layout.and all we did was switch some stuff around! This could be like 5 minutes worth of work to increase sales by FIVE TIMES.
