I want to show people that the key to success is to focus on doing good for people, and that success will follow.

Even though money is important, and making lots of it is wonderful; money built Disney World, the iPhone, and every other convenience we enjoy today, but ALL of those great inventions came out of passion and love of what the person did, and their dreams, combined with their unique talents and skills, made life better for the entire world as a result!

I want to inspire people to change their viewpoint and stop doing that bullshit marketing that's all focused around making money, and instead focus on following your passion, do something that you love, and that excites you to wake up every day knowing you're changing thousands of lives, and changing the world, because you're going to die eventually, and in the end what you leave behind for people is all that's really going to matter; without passion marketing as manipulation to make money is a shallow and empty goal.

It's like the old saying goes:

"Do what you love and the money will follow".

I want to push people to do what's made society great throughout history, and given us things like air travel, the internet, the television, and the light blub; I want to inspire people to innovate, be passionate again about what they do, and do things that move humanity forward and make everyone's lives better, instead of just doing something that's going to be meaningless the moment they die, and live a life with no meaningful contribution to the world, and focusing on benefiting ourselves above all else.

That's DEEP!
I agree with most of what Dan Kennedy
Teaches...However, I struggled with him believing that
good is good enough...That's why american car companies are in the toilet.
Not to mention MicroSoft....Apple handed them their ass.
That's why IE is on the super decline.
And Fire Fox and Chrome are Kicking IE's ASS!
Anyway, your book is awesome! and for absolute sure changed my life.
It helped me make a decision I was strugling with.

At the end of my book I talk about the fact that the entire world economy is in the toilet (we're supposedly in a global recession), and no matter what we do no one seems to have the solution, but Apple is making more money than any company in history, and nobody is paying attention, or trying to emulate what they're doing (which is absolutely crazy to me).

It's a clear sign that times are changing, the population is larger than ever before, competition is too great, and the old ways of marketing from the last 100 years are dead.

We all saw what happened when Apple created the iPad thinking as their foundation, "how do we create a device between a laptop and smartphone, that will give our users the ability to easily and conveniently do all the things they love in a way that's easier and more personal then either of those devices".

Then Microsoft created Windows 8 thinking, "how do we compete with our declining PC markets and the iPad so that we can catch regain our profits and market share?"; then they tried so hard to create a product that would do everything that nobody wanted it because it's such a huge mess because they never thoughta bout their customers, and were only focused on money and competing with Apple... but companies don't get that with so many options and competition now this formula doesn't work anymore.

That is the exact sentence I had in mind for what I wanted readers to say after the read it; to make the first marketing book so powerful it literally transforms forever not only the way someone looks at marketing and sales, but the way they see their entire life.

I only wanted to contribute something if I knew it could open people's eyes and revolutionize their lives.
