[GET] Android App Inventor Software {Created by Google and MIT Students}
App Inventor (FOR FREE)
A useful tool for building Android applications for mobile phones Written by Alexandru Pintilie App Inventor provides Android developers with a friendly environment for the creation of applications for the Android platform. It comprises a designer and a blocks editor for all the work behind the interface as well as an emulator for testing purposes. It also supports cloud-based storage of all your projects for easy access no matter where you might end up writing code and perform tests. There are a few steps to be taken in order to create Android apps with the App Inventor and they include selecting the components to work with in the App Inventor Designer as well as the assembly of program blocks specifying the roles and behavior of the aforementioned components within the App Inventor Blocks Editor. This last operation is as visual as it can possible be with you putting blocks together just like in a puzzle game. Moreover, the emulator is always connected to the editor, thus adding a block and connecting it to another instantly shows the result in the emulated screen. This can also be accomplished using a connected Android phone. The emulator alternative is constantly there though, just in case your mobile is not an option. Firstly released as a Google project, App Inventor had a short lifespan under the IT mogul that lasted only about a year. The MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) took over the project and has maintained it since the end of the year 2011. Its mission since then is to democratize the Android app development “for and by all”. App Inventor can potentially turn you into an active, analytical contributor of the mobile community. Its toolset alongside the provided workbench make it a friendly environment to start your Android app projects in and develop them into publishable stand-alone applications. With App Inventor, yesterday’s simple media consumer can become tomorrow’s Android app creator. DOWNLOADLINK: http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownloa...35&t=0&i=1

Thanks! I like app inventor for simple little apps, easy to use once you get to know it. Can make some advanced apps, but seems to be complicated for more advanced.
Been using it for since it was all Google, before they turned it over to MIT. AI2 was released not long ago. For those that want to dig into AI with out installing .exe file, they could check out: http://appinventor.mit.edu/explore/ Rep+ for your share.
if you think everyone else stupid, might be good time to look in a mirror...

simple apps are a nice door opener to businesses to give away for free and upsell on your services

Hello BBHF Members,
I am going to put in my 2 cents worth here with a note of caution. Why? you ask. Think on this Google spys on ALL emails for the NSA and other note worthies of USA. Well you say that has been stopped now. Yeah sure, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale, cheap too! Never ever believe that any government like the USA will ever stop at spying on anyone, anytime, anywhere that they want to. Their collective hands have been slapped for now. Cheers, gnucanuck |

RE:
have had my own personal experience with that ...when I was doing settlements for annuity owners...had the F****** cops show up at my office, told me to sit down or go to jail while they rifled through my files, confiscated all my materials , and left without leaving me a list of any of the products/files they stole....on the way out, the FBI guy told me that I should probably move...at the time, I didnt have a camera to film the event or I would have....so , keep your pistols loaded and ready ..
