Thank you for sharing this. I have not even heard about it yet.

At any rate, I perused it real quick and what Coleman describes in his 27 page pdf is how some author he heard of his wrote a short story with extreme stakes such as a book about a guy who is faced with the dilemma of having to murder his wife in order to save his daughter’s life.

This can also be done for nonfiction books as well according to Coleman. The key being that the book has to have a solution to a problem that is simple, quick, and to the point. And then he goes through how to select what to write about, how to go about it, blah, blah, blah.

So the point of the course is to write a short story that is so extreme and concentrated that people can’t help but want to finish it in one sitting. Thanks again Show.
