[GET] 2019 SMALL BUSINESS MARKETING CALENDAR AND LIST
==========
UPDATE --- JULY 2, 2019 I found a download link for the 2009 edition of Chase's Calendar of Events and have posted it below. Scroll down to the July 2, 2019 update to grab it! ========== 2019 SMALL BUSINESS MARKETING CALENDAR AND LIST Holidays, Ideas and Marketing Tips to Make 2019 Your Best Year Ever LAYNA'S NOTE: I just found this resource today and already, we're halfway through 2019! While this share may seem a tad late, it really isn't because these dates remain constant from year to year. But if you've got to have a 2020 edition, re-visit the Valpak website I'm sending you to closer to the end of the year and see if they have a new edition. Nobody knows your name unless you market yourself. And this little resource makes marketing fun! FROM THE WEBSITE: Having a pulse on holidays -- whether major or casual -- can elevate your brand as well-connected, witty and engaged. Planning your marketing campaigns around holidays, events and themed-days can leverage a sense of excitement and enthusiasm with your customers. Decide which holidays most align with your business and look for ways to capitalize on them. Then take advantage of opportunities by planning ahead with this free holiday marketing calendar. * * * * * In the image in my post header above, you can see the cover of the 14-page calendar. Further below, I posted an example of September 2019 to show you what a calendar page looks like. Here's what the list version looks like: GET THE 2019 SMALL BUSINESS MARKETING TEMPLATES HERE: Magic Button : READ MORE AND GRAB OTHER GOODIES FROM THE SITE HERE: Magic Button : Here is a peek at the September 2019 calendar page ... There is a lot going on here ... In addition to being Hispanic Heritage Month, September is also Self-Improvement Month. There is a ton of niches that can benefit from the latter occasion: * Diet, health, fitness, weight-loss and plastic surgery * Beauty and cosmetics * Authors of self-help books and creators of products about self-improvement * Relationship or sexual attraction niches such as "get the girl/guy" or "get your lover back" content, products or services * Education and self advancement (ex: get your GED, courses to advance in the workplace, write better sales copy, start your own business) etc. * Hobbies - Be a better gardener, improve your golf score, * General topics like be a better parent, learn to co-exist with your teenager, how to make friends and influence others, etc. I could go on and on ... If your business caters to the Latino/Hispanic community or (as mentioned above) you're involved in self-improvement in any niche, then September is a great month for marketing your business. Just be sure you start weeks in advance (to build up the anticipation for what you're offering) and promote awareness of who you are, what you do or what you have for sale leading up to (and including) September! If you do it correctly, your efforts can translate to cold, hard cash in your bank account! Just today, I re-upped a link for AWAI's Secrets to Writing for the Self-Improvement Market. So that share comes to mind as I post this. And if that's YOUR niche, NOW is a good time to get the promotion and marketing ball rolling and keep it going until the big event that ends in September. Here are a few September dates I like: * The First Day of Fall occurs on September 23. My favorite! I used to always say: "If I had my way, we'd have 6 months of autumn and 6 months of winter and skip over spring and summer altogether!" And to that, my dear husband would retort: "Sounds like somebody's never lived in the northeast during winter!" * National Good Neighbor Day falls on September 28. A good time to tie in ways to be a good neighbor while promoting your products or services related to yard work and gardening, air conditioning and such ... for example, check in on elderly neighbors or relatives to see what you can do to help them around or outside their house. National Grandparent's Day (also in September, if memory serves me) is a great day for this type of promotional theme, too! Coffee anyone? * National Coffee Day is September 29. You should plan marketing campaigns leading up to that date if there is any possible way you can logically connect the beloved coffee bean to your business brand. Here's another 2019 calendar you can use to track upcoming holidays that may tie in to your marketing fit: GET IT HERE: This is a direct download. Magic Button : All this reminds me of a book I purchased a long time ago called Chase's Calendar of Events. It's an annual so it comes out, updated, every year. It's fairly expensive and (to my knowledge) there are no digital editions --- hard copy paperback only. You can "make do" with an older edition if you can find one. Not only can you get it much cheaper but the dates stay in tact from year-to-year. What the updates bring is additional, newly-added events and holidays. I've searched for this online and I've found links that claim to give you a digital download but you've got to be careful with those. The links look spammy and the downloads all go to PDFs with text links back to a sales page to buy the darn thing! Or else they lead to nowhere at all. What I like about Chase's Calendar of Events is there is so much information about the dates. It delves deep into historical facts and shares details you might not have even known! If you've never heard of this book before, here's a link to read more about Chase's Calendar of Events 2019 ... Magic Button : Read some of the content on that website and learn how to use special months and days that happen every year to put cold, hard cash in your pocket. And, like I said, it's fairly expensive. Here is what you can expect to pay if you pre-order the 2020 edition via Amazon ... But I'm including the information here because Chase's Calendar of Events is a marketer's goldmine. If you can spring for it, I suggest you do. You could read it in your local library, too ... I believe it's in the Reference section so there's no leaving the library with it! ========== UPDATE --- JULY 2, 2019 ========== I have found a direct link ({{{Blocked by Omni Potens, reason: reports from LEGIT GB STARTER}}}.org) for the 2009 Chase's Calendar of Events. Don't let the ten year difference get in the way; the events celebrated are fairly consistent from year to year. I believe they do the updates because new events are added over time. GET CHASES'S CALENDAR OF EVENTS 2009: Magic Button : HOW TO USE THE CALENDAR OR LIST * Create content that informs, entertains or inspires your readers that centers around a holiday event or theme. Never miss the opportunity to put a link back to your website (or provide contact details for your business) to promote awareness of your brand, etc. * Write and distribute press releases to get local (or national) media coverage and always tie the holiday event or theme back to your brand or business * Put on a local or regional event that celebrates the holiday event or theme but make sure you focus is on the product or service you are promoting It always helps to do a little research on the special occasion so that your content will be informed and you can showcase your expertise. If you're not an authority, find someone who is and ask to do a brief phone or email interview. They will probably jump at the opportunity because, in exchange for their time, you will credit or acknowledge them, their company and their knowledge ... which, in turn, helps you. Lastly, be genuine in presenting information about the event or occasion but also, be crafty in how you "incorporate" your promotional or sales message, too. After all, the whole point of this marketing is to get your name or brand out where people will want to buy whatever you're selling.
