In that example, the book series is named “Best of the
Best” and the subtitle uses Harry Potter in the term.
But it’s obvious it isn’t part of the Harry Potter brand and
in fact, so long as we don’t steal half the book, this sort of
book would be perfectly legal to sell.
Why?
Simply put, it’s a critique of a work, specifically a
character, Harry Potter. We can quote sections from the
book inside this book and it’s perfectly legal.
