[GET] 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself: Change Your Life Forever - Steve Chandler (Highly Recommended) [pdf]
100 Ways to Motivate Yourself: Change Your Life Forever
Another kick in the ass for those of you who need it to stay on track. This is another highly recommended read and one you should re-visit from time to time. - Non Conformer "This book is great. It is not one of those corny motivational books that make you feel pumped up and eventually wears off in a couple months if not days. This is real motivation the kind that brings success in anything you do whether it be your financial life, physical life, spiritual life, or personal life." 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself give you 100 different thinking tools for accessing your most spirited and creative self. It is a book that you can turn to anywhere and read for just two or three minutes and find your whole day lifted up with energy and purpose. Written like a psychological thriller, 100 Was has been used by everyone from professional football coaches to homemakers to engage the brain at the deepest and most inspired level in order to access the fire of the spirit on command. Steve Chandler gives you the 100 most effective ways to turn your defeatist attitudes into energetic, optimistic, enthusiastic accomplishments. Winner of the Golden Play Button Award for Best Business Audio of 1996. Chandler doesn't give you a pep talk or a gut-check...he explains the nature of achievement. He doesn't merely give you encouragement, he gives you options. An example of the difference between encouragement and options is Chandler's response to a man who came up to him at a seminar and said, "My problem is that I never seem to finish anything...." The man wanted Chandler to give him some "affirmations" to alter his "belief system." Chandler responded," Do you think affirmations are what you need? If you had to learn how to use a computer, could you do it by sitting on a couch and repeating, 'I am great at using a computer...'?" Chandler then said, "The way to change your belief system is to change the truth about you. "This book aswell as the audio versions, unleashed a a fire in me that I didn't even know I had. I cosidered myslef to be a very uninspiring person, I always thought pessimistically, and I had absolutely no yearn for anything. I was lazy, watched too much television, I couldn't even take out the trash it was that bad, my only inspiration to do anything was when it got out of control. A friend reccomended I take a look, I knew I wasn't going anywhere, so I gave it a go. everything i came across was self improving. A couple of the points I like are the Lie to yourself idea, which is great. I do consider that I originally lied to myself in wanting to achieve my goaal, but after putting in the dedication, I now fully believe what I want to do and that I can do it. the second is the writing down of ideas, I do this every day, and I have come up with so many Ideas I don't know what to do with them all. The motivational techniques, forced me to break some of my greatest all time fears, Since i broke those fears, I felt invincible. No longer afraid to talk to others in a socal gathering. I have turned off the tv, and when I turn it on I can't see anything worth watching, Reading more books, taking up piano lessons, the list goes on. I recomend anyone with even the slightest pessimism to try this book, it will change your life forever" Password requests will be ignored. Been answered a thousand times already. RE:
Fantastic book.
Motivation is the root of any human success. The more motivated, for good or for bad, the more certain that the success will happen. I particularly appreciate that the author doesn't have you "om-ing" away with some mantra or such. Engage the mind as well as your desires- the perfect combination.
