Whenever you want to update it then just just put the "#" in-front of the codes in the host file and save it. Then update the programmes and repeat the process again.

BIG UPDATE

I have tested on another computer this morning and it WORKS

How to do it:

0°) Uninstall all previous version to have a proper installation.

1°) Download the version via the given URL with java machine if java isn't installed on your computer

2°) Launch installation, at the END, DON'T OPEN ANY PROGRAMS !

3°) Modify your hosts file and go to download url for verifying hosts file is active.

4°) If you can't access to download url, you're good, if not, your hosts file is NOT active and CAN'T work.

5°) Launch SEO SPyglass, go to help, and click at the bottom of the menu to enter serial.

6°) You will a successful message.

7°) And repeat the process for the others soft.

It's simple as you can see, i think some mistakes are due to a wrong hosts file or a different version of software.

It is important to follow the instructions given by the OP on the first post by BalckHatSEO becos a slight mistake will make your software won't work.

I have followed the instructions to the "t" and it works smoothly. Be sure to uninstall whatever previous versions of it BEFORE installing it.
