OK, it's obvious that most of the buzz around cryptos in general is about trading the coins.

But cryptos must also serve a purpose. Other than making money I mean. And solve a problem not solved until they did. Or solve a problem in a different way. Or offer a service that noone else is offering. Something..

I also know almost nobody cares, and people just want to make a million bucks from their 10-dollar coin purchase, but at least take a look at what you're buying.

Read the coin's whitepaper, see who's behind it, and go to the altcoin forums to see what's going on. No excuses people! And if you plan on giving your money for a whole year (!!) to someone you don't know, and not regulated by ANY financial authority -like bitconnect's lending scheme-, at least have the common sense to admit to yourself that if something goes wrong, it's nobody else's fault, but yours.

I traded Bitconnect recently, took my 10% profit in 2 days, and left the coin behind me. That's what I do in a highly volatile and mostly unregulated market.
I trade to take a 10%, I add it to the pile, and next day I buy another one. I'm not "marrying" people who are not clear with their intentions :-)

I am sure that the people behind bitconnect will close shop and open a new one in the near future. And people will rush to lend their money again, to make some profits. Life goes on..

So protect yourselves, and use your common sense.
