Discussion on Forex Pairs!! AU, GU, EU....ongoing!!.. want?

- Jumper, I too would like to see another sub-forum here where we can all help and discuss our work in Forex. There are a lot of other PAID sites doing just that so why can't one be created here? I would prefer it be in here but another alternative would be a SKYPE group or something similar. I understand that there are other apps available that work just like SKYPE but are easier to configure. I'm not in any way tech savvy so I don't know what or where they are.

- Lowkeyct, I agree with all that you said. I learned this in my attempt at IM. Those are the key's to success in any endeavor, but to be perfectly honest I am not looking for a job. If I can't do what I have to do in under four hours a day then I am not interested. I am 75 years old and no longer dreaming of big houses, luxury cars and other toys. I had that when I was contracting and it is too stressful. My dream now is to make enough to keep me on the road as I begin my travels, fulfilling my long ago dreams and goals. I lost all material things but I still dream of hitting the road and seeing all that I had on my bucket list, before loosing it all. A tiny little parasite took it all way.

For a couple of years I thought IM was my answer but being stuck to my computer 12 hrs a day is not my idea of having made it. I've changed directions but I still have my dreams and I WILL see them to fruition. 18 years ago I was introduced to Option Trading and dabbled with it a little. My business was doing very well then and was taking most of my time so I put trading on the shelf. All of today's technology was not available then. Looking back, I wish I had given it a greater priority. But as they say, 'Hindsight is always 20-20'.

@alex44, you sound like you have had a very interesting life! This is not a job, it is a business and you decide how much time you have to commit. You choose a trading strategy which suits your temperament and lifestyle. Myself, i am in front of my computer for trading purposes about 2 to 3 hours a day, but I will say however that initially it was a frustrating 8 to 9 hours a day.

Now i am no trading guru and i dont have millions in my accounts. I have worked hard to learn the business and happy to help if and where i can.

AUDUSD Daily


AUDUSD 4Hr


I will start with the AUDUSD. This has been one of my favorite pairs the last couple weeks.
On the daily this pair has been ranging nicely allowing for good range trading.
With the latest USD strength this pair has pierced through the bottom of the range. The pair didnt close below so could not a full break in my book yet.

How will i be playing this:

I am expecting a little more consolidation in the smaller blue (range) visible on the 4hour and resistance is holding so far.

I will buy on break and retest of range high
targets: 38.2, 61.8 fib levels and top of range.

I will sell on break and retest of range low.
target: -0.272 fib and price 0.69

Keep in mind it is the start of golden week so things could get a little thin out there. I will add other instruments as i can.

Good morning BBHF traders,

Here's another promising looking setup. Usually I won't take any trade on Friday but today I might make an exception if this setup workout as planned.

It's for NZDUSD pair. If it workout then we might have GBPNZD move the opposite direction (BUY setup).

Your AUDUSD looks promising.
I'll be focusing on BUy setup for that pair but for now I don't see any setup that works with my strategy. Will keep an eye for this pair.

@sunnyTRIO, you make a good point and one which any new/aspiring traders need to take note of. What we post is our view of the instrument. If you agree with the view it is vital that you apply your own rules and wait for your own setups!

EU just break the range upwards. As can see from the chart , if its able to break the previous support at 1.2259 then i able price will stay above it and next resistance would be 1.12616.. If not then price will crawl back to the range.
