I am yet to find a clean control panel that would work without back doors and other exploits. I would be very cautious using it on your money sites.
I haven't failed. I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Using nulled CMS, Theme or plugins is something else but when it comes to cPanel I won't even bother downloading it. Why risk it all for couple of bucks. No offence to uploader but sure it has backdoor other exploits.
