RE:
I might add that a segmentation for you might be that you DO NOT want any: gmail, aol, hotmail or yahoo email addresses but the email must end in .com if you wanted to target businesses.
Or you might want to target only .edu or .ca for instance. the world is your oyster when it comes to picking and choosing your segments.

RE:
Im dead sure..try it yourself with a telnet session on port 25 to the mx domain.
this aint rocket science - its exactly how the commercial products do it. My code is multi-threaded java and I have 256 ips that I can run simultaneously - it's how I can test so many in a day.

RE:
There is never any guarantee that anyone will ever open any email. There are simply too many variables.
The first starts with the reputation of your email server ip address. If you're black listed chances are very few people will ever see your email because most companies and ISP'S now use products from either Barracuda or incorporate the Spamassassin Open Source code into the commercial spam filtering products and you're never going to make it to anyone's inbox. want to check the reputation of your sending ip address? You can here: https://www.senderscore.org/ I check the score of my sending ip's every day on over 50 known black lists and at senderscore.org to make sure I have the best deliverability possible. Next is the content of your creative. Since most people use products based on Spamassasin you're email is going to get assigned a score based on over 200 different variables and the lower the score - the higher the probability your email will make it to someone's inbox. These variables include words you use such as FREE (it's not suggested) - ALL CAPS (a big no no) too much weight given to graphics instead of text content, spammy subject lines and the list goes on and on. It your email is assigned a score greater than 5, chances are it's going to be classifieds as spam and never seen - because 5 is the default score that the commercial use as their default when blocking emails. you can get your emails checked for free here: http://support.mailpoet.com/knowledgebas...massassin/ I see thousands of these every day from email marketers and I shake my head in disbelief at their stupidity - they spend a lot of money to send email, but never check the spam score or the email server reputations of the company sending their emails for them and they wonder why their email campaigns flop. When I do a mailing I test the score of the creative before I send it for them and I keep the reputation of my email servers clean and off black lists. Even the words you choose for your 'opt out' verbiage can hurt you. It's why so many company display an image of the optout text instead of the actual text in their emails. so the bottom line is that there are never any guarantees - even given by the large list providers which charge upwards of $50/thousand emails sent. regards (12-16-2013 12:08 AM)daniel123 Wrote: Hello, can i know if this email list opens the email?
