Can you tell me what is the difference between SociVid and Video Skins. What we can do with videoskin and what can be done with Socivid. I try to understand by googling but does not find any satisfactory answers. Looking towards you for answer.

In summary, if you require the video solely for your website, then Video Skins would be better. It has more features and more options besides overlays, CTA and Opt-in form which both also has.

Video Skins also has Timer, can put music in, more graphics and motion flexibility option which SociVids do not have.
Also, Video Skins is able to pull videos from Amazon s3 besides Youtube. And the developers are working on the loose ends to include pulling video from Vimeo as well.

SociVids is only able to pull video from YouTube.


However, with SociVids, you are able to post the video created to Facebook.
This is not possible with Video Skins.

Check out my post #13 on my comment how you can utilize both softwares in conjunction with one another.

Many of my purchasers are buying both as well.

Hope this explanation helps in your buying decision.

If you are using or planning to use videos for your campaigns, why not buy both especially when the price is still low.

You can only post the videos created using video skins on your website. Would suggest having your own videos posted in you tube and then use those videos using video skins, get the embed code and post in your web site. This way your original video in you tube will get more traction.
