Yeah, $10 support from the developer is a steal.
Being as web design industry myself for quite a long time now,i reallise a montly fee is a must if you want to give the best support for you client.
I think thats better than anyone who say giving lifetime support but matter of fact is just lying to their customer.

I completely agree with what you're saying, cheap and best doesn't get mixed together. People tend to get cheap stuff and cheap stuff doesn't last, also prices are reasonable, I'm not even charging 10$ per script it's all purchased will be updated if there's any problem with it.
