I hope no one else got scammed by this guy. Since no one else has come forth to say anything, maybe we were the only gullible ones.

I learned my lesson on this one, so for future reference, if some guy offers you a shady deal... think twice and run the other way. I should have followed my instincts when he was evading certain questions I was asking about, but oh well, it was an expensive lesson.
