Editing is the primary process that brings a video together, while shooting is the enjoyable aspect. Since editing is what ultimately creates the final product, I tend to allocate more time towards this stage.

An editor is successful when the audience enjoys the story and forgets about the juxtapositions of the shots. If the audience is aware of the editing, the editor has failed.
