I think Google can take one week to index your website.

1 - google console - add pages with the "Fetch as Google"
2 - twitter (still helps)
3 - ping the search engines

Submitting Link to Google Console could work as a trap. The more links you submit, they are immediately flagged and impacts your SEO.

I would avoid submitting links to google console.

I am facing same issue. There are around 3000 pages in my website and I opened the website for crawlers 2 months ago still only 700 pages are indexed. Please advise how I can speed up the process?

Simple, in google search console, fetch as google then submit to index. Your page will index instantly.

Index is slow for all my websites too. Google takes one week for the first 900 pages and 2 weeks for the next 300 pages. I just use a regular sitemap from the Yoast SEO Plugin.

I have noticed the same thing on my website that it took a week to index 50 pages. I launched the website last month.

Google is doing there job very efficiently. They crawl each and every page but index some of them after checking the quality of the page. They first prefer to crawl good authority websites then they will go to the medium and then low. So, if your web page is not crawled by the Google then submit your website to High Domain authority websites (Social media website and social bookmarking websites.).

In order to have your website getting index fast, you need to submit it to Google webmaster, at Crawl section and Fetch as Google. With this way, you link will be indexed less than 2 minutes. I usually do this way for all my websites to get faster index. Hope this helps.
