RE: Youtube Creative Commons - Share Your Experience
Written with the help of Google Translate - English is not my native language - Be patient and if someone wants to correct some inappropriate term, I thank you!

I have about 50 YT channels. Various niches. (include soft porn, lesbian, ripping pranks, ripping news)
In ALL of them, I use CC content. There are over 8k videos and NONE of them is mine. More 50k views/day in total.

I recently lost 3 channels. (01-ripping of the gastronomic reality show, 02-baikoko twerk dance and 03-kisses channel) They were all in the same gmail account.

I almost lose my account. I've transferred all channels to various gmail accounts.

What's happening: YT implemented changes to its algorithm a few months ago. They are committed to combating spam, sexual content, racist, hate and copyrighted.

While this cleansing process takes place (can last for some months to stabilize) everyone is liable to suffer just or unjust penalties.

I left my channels stopped and went back to Facebook and stay there until the situation becomes clearer. In 2015 the FB went through a similar process, banning accounts and fanpages without having clear criteria.

And before that, Google did something like blogspots.

My suggestion: Create a gmail account with no relation to your current account. I'd rather use firefox.
In this account open a personal channel and another of tests, without authority, cover, avatar, nothing.

In the test channel, experiment with CC content. Use the YT, Videotoolbox, VideoWave, or any other editor.

Leave all videos in this testing channel as unlisted and CC licensed.

Wait at least a week. If there are no problems, grab the link from the videos that are ok and go to your open channel. Paste the link into the YT editor of this open channel and upload it. Keep this video private for a few more days.

If there is no problem, make the video public.

If there are any warnings - IMMEDIATELY - open the video enhancement and trim and delete the entire video. Leave only 1 second. Make the video private again and wait for the strike to be removed.

See if relevant information in youtube analytics (especially in "traffic source" and demographics - this can be useful in new videos or faceads)

Wait longer for yt to record its activities and after a few days delete the video.

It works but it's a lot of work. I prefer to wait for the stabilization of the algorithm and the new guidelines.

Escrito com a ajuda do Google Tradutor - Inglê não é minha língua nativa - Se alguem quiser corrigir algum termo inadequado, eu agradeço!

Eu tenho uns 50 canais YT. Nichos variados.
Em TODOS eles, uso conteúdo CC. São mais de 8k vídeos e NENHUM deles é meu.

Recentemente perdi 3 canais. Estavam todos em uma mesma conta gmail.
Quase perco minha conta.

Caso haja alguma advertência - IMEDIATAMENTE - abra o aprimoramento do vídeo e corte e exclua todo o vídeo. Deixe apenas um segundo. Torne o vídeo privado novamente.

Depois de alguns dias exclua o vídeo.

Funciona mas é muito trabalhoso tudo isso. Prefiro aguardar a estabilização do algoritmo e das novas diretrizes.

1. Re-record the CC video using HQ hi-res smartphone camera.
2. Compress CC video with HandBrake software and re-edit.
3. Re-render the CC video without the sound and then re-edit the result.
4. Re-format the CC video into other format and then re-edit the result.

Hope this helps!

There is one thing you have to watch out for... if you find a video that is CC, check and make sure it hasn't been posted somewhere else and they didn't not make it CC.

If you download say a ESPN sports video to your hard drive and you upload it up to your channel, you may list it as CC. Which is a no no... eventually ESPN will flag it. Someone else comes along and downloads your copy and put it on their channel it will get flagged also. The original copy and posting of the video is what YT looks for and takes action on.

Most CC videos are trash/useless anyway.....

RE: Youtube Creative Commons - Share Your Experience
Additional recommendation:

Choose CC video with high view number (ex: more than 10K).
You can also choose the one with average view number but the video is at least 6 months old or longer.
CC videos that are already shared a lot could be safer as well.

But always remember! YT is always unique and can do whatever they want to do.

Good luck!
