First install Directory theme then install Tevolution and Tevolution-Directory plugins after that install and active your child theme.

I'm uploading Tevolution, tevolution-directory, and directory theme through Cpanel file manager.
after completed, the site looks a little messed up. front page content is all gone yet the widgets are still setup correctly.

no map anymore on category page either

something weird going on,....
Please check is map added in widgets

RE:
ah ha, what it is
the homepage display posts widget is causing all the problems.
All other widgets seem to work but as soon as that one is added to the homepage content everything below the header goes away.

could be a bug, i tried setting up that widget with 100 different settings.

also note, if you are upgrading..you may need to delete all the widgets and re add them IF they aren't displaying properly

What I've found.
Doing an upgrade through Cpanel file manager seems to have issues.
the list filter didn't work by deleting the files in the plugin folder then extracting the filter zip file in there.
had to uninstall the plugin in the panel and install update. so it does find the listing but using multi-checkbox
you don't have the option of AND or OR. you always get OR as far as i can tell (i think when people click 2 boxes, they are looking for AND)
click one checkbox and get 7 parameters in the filter list

the sort by works but the 3 buttons to the left including the map button do nothing
the map view in the old version is just totally gone, can't get to work.

The most important part of a directory is the SEARCH. any site can put up business info, it's all about how fast can the visitor find EXACTLY what they're looking for.

another IMPORTANT factor is Traffic. No traffic, No income from the site. Templatic really needs to put an emphasis on features to promote viral sharing and being favored by search engines.

that's just for a fresh install. upgrading *can be done through FTP or you have to uninstall themes and plugins and Re-install the new ones. When you site is full of content and data, uninstalling and reinstalling can cause problems.

I'm using a test dummy site to test the 2.0 and so far i'm not sure it's worth the upgrade from 1.9
would be nice if the search filter worked as it should, and the mutli-checkbox is THE most valuable option in it.
