[Need Help]How To Remove freedomextension

I have this annoying - freedomextension.com - stuff that takes over my SERP. Which means I cannot see my google search results (including the ads).

Can anyone help suggest how I can remove that.

And it seem that it only affects on Chrome browser.

1. go to extensions and uninstall all extensions

2. go to task manager and stop any process which looks suspicious.

3. Install Malware bytes (keys easily available here on this forum) and scan your computer for virus. Remove any virus shown there.

4. Go to chrome settings and click on restore to default settings.
5. Go to control panel and see if you have any unwanted programs there. If yes, remove them.

If these fix your issues, its good. Else, u might need to make some changes to registry as well as download other software.

On the other hand, you can simply download something called Google chrome portable and start using it.

There are a few steps involved which may also include alteration of regsitry.

Open chrome://extensions/
you will find all the extensions installed in your browser. GOTO the extension you want to remove and click on the recycle bin icon on the right.
